Carol was such a bright light in the IAATI organization. However, although I have been involved in the automobile industry for the last 50 years, I have never been intermately involved in theft investigation. Presently I am a vehicle fire investigator, and of course, arson and theft may be issues. Can you tell me what opportunities there are for a private individual who is interested in auto theft investigation? I have the impression that in this area, all investigations are handled by the police - but I have no evidence either way? Is there any one to whom I can talk about what opportunities exist?
